Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and lead time.
- Request and compare quotations, samples, and technical specs from different suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to obtain the best value while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain supplier database with updated profiles, pricing, and performance evaluations.
- • Collaborate closely with the Product Development, Production and Quality Control teams to test and validate new product.
- Track market trends and innovation in beauty manufacturing supplies.
- Work closely with Purchasing to ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory planning.
Requirements and skills
- Take ownership, have the ability to self-study, research and come up with solutions, take initiative in work.
- Methodical approach combined with creativity, determination and persistence
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- A desire to learn and grow in the product, supply chain field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in the beauty, garment, or consumer goods industry.
- Solid and demonstrated knowledge of the import-export industry (eyelash/hair/beauty/garment/coffee is preferred).
- Strong negotiation, communication, relationship building and analytical skills.
- Ability to evaluate quality and understand technical specifications.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in English/Chinese (especially in reading technical documents and emailing suppliers).
- Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
