Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders across product lines.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs with production and inventory teams.
- Track order status and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Receive and verify incoming materials; coordinate with Warehouse and QC for inspection and acceptance.
- Maintain purchasing records including contracts, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier data.
- Identify potential supply bottlenecks and propose adjustments to order schedules.
- Support supplier evaluation by reporting recurring delivery or quality issues.
- Ensure all procurement complies with internal policies and quality standards.
Requirements and skills
- Take ownership, have the ability to self-study, research and come up with solutions, take initiative in work.
- Methodical approach combined with creativity, determination and persistence
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- A desire to learn and grow in the product, supply chain field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in the beauty, garment, or consumer goods industry.
- Solid and demonstrated knowledge of the import-export industry (eyelash/hair/beauty/garment/coffee is preferred).
- Familiar with inventory systems, stock forecasting, and order tracking procedures.
- Strong Excel and documentation skills (PO, delivery tracking, GRN, etc.).
- Good communication and follow-up skills (internal & external).
- Proficient in English for emailing suppliers and reviewing documents.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly organized.
